The present web application service is suitable for someone who would like to file a trademark with JPO (Japan Patent Office), which has already been registered in a country other than Japan, and register it therein.

If you wish you register a trademark in Japan, you have to request Japanese patent attorney to take over filing it with JPO. This is because if you are a person domiciled or resident (or, in the case of a juridical person, with a business office) outside Japan, you have to undertake procedures through a Japanese patent attorney (Article 8, Japan Patent Law) as described above.
